Just received the all important yearly call from Heather.........they are shipping my 2006 LE Sebenza today :D Can't wait to see what Maka Wood looks like ! ! !

You and I have been on this forum for quite some time and we always seem to follow one another in some way in regards to what Seb's we get.

With that being said; Today, 3 days before my 37th B-Day, I recieved my 2006 LE large Spalted Maple Seb with ladder pattern stainless Damascus blade, clear-coated. Heather had been keeping me posted as to when they were going to send it. They actually got it out on Friday 3 day UPS, but with the holiday, I just got it today. It came with a new asian script CR tee shirt and a bottle of their flourinated grease.

This Sebenza(and I have quite a few) is by far the most fantastic one in my collection now. Words can't begin to describe the beauty of the Damascus and wood. I will attempt to photograph it this coming weekend.

You will surely love yours! The burl woods are fantastic on these, and the California buckeye burl is one of my favorite. Please post pix when you can.

At the risk of inviting a lynching...are the sebenzas as good as people say?
I am dithering between a sebenza and a Willliam Henry Titan and other opinions would be welcome.
 
Yes, they as good as we all say. You have to have one to understand. That is all I am going to say. They are awesome! There is only one, and it is SEBENZA!
 
OK it's 8AM and today I'm off work so I'll be waiting for the Brown truck. TKC I like your signature. My little friend (cockerspaniel) died of old age (16) last week and I didn't realize how lonely I would be without her. Blackend we sure seem to be on the same page. My current rotation is my large Micarta inlay, NICA tanto and Scott Cook Lochsa. Today I hope to be adding the 2006 Buckeye and I also hope to post pictures today!;)
 
Groan!:grumpy: The Brown truck delivered package to my neighbor and had the nerve to just drive away. Major bummer.:( ;)
 
LOL Dave no I already went there. Her package was long and narrow. Maybe it'll be here later this PM.:( But I have tomorrow off work too just in case.;)

Thanks everyone! The scan doesn't do it justice. I've been admiring it all afternoon. I'll be EDCing this one for a while. Well at least put in the rotation.;)
