I'm gonna buy a shiro my question is I have alot of knives. In m390. Are shiros going to come out with new. Steel anytime soon? Just got a spydie in cpm 20cv. Any word on new metals. Like I said this new spydie will cut the hair on a fleas ass. I'm not gonna spend big coin on another m390. Any rumors

And how to get in touch with some dude named Vlad ? someone told me he can import the shiro without the 3 time mark up

I have no insight on Shiro or Spyderco but models with MagnaCut might be in the future. I know no clue how readily available the new steel is with some supply chain issues going on in the world.

Vlad is very active on the book of faces Shirogorov for sale page. The prices are not any better or worse then you see here.

Here's my Shirogorov HatiOn Lite in M390 next to a Jens Anso Neo.

And with a Shirogorov F3 in Elmax.

OP, FWIW you mentioned 20CV as if it’s a new steel. Same thing as M390.
20CV is an American-made version of M390, which is mostly made in Europe (not sure if/when the new Bohler factory in China is making M390). Given geography, I think it's likely we'll continue to see Shirogorov primarily use Bohler steels (Elmax, M390, and Vanax are all Bohler-Uddeholm products). Other than some rare/low-production editions in Crucible's S90V and S110V, and an occasional Damasteel blade, everything I've seen has been Bohler.
