Shiro Lock-up Percentage?

First time Shiro owner here and looking at the lock-up it looks very light. Is this normal with Shiro knives? If not is there anything I can do to make it better?

Yup. Most are 10%-ish that I’ve seen. Some are a bit more. Totally normal.

The chamfering on the tang makes it look like it’s locking up less than it really is.

Mine are all like this. Just gives you plenty of wear in space. Mine are all perfectly solid.
