I have a Shirogorov 95T and I love it, it's hard not to carry it every day for me. I use it for many things among them food processing. My question to the Shirogorov owner out there, is it okay to wash the knife with water after use for food processing or anyone have tried that?

And does this relate to the exchange?

I prep often with all my folders. I am the main "cook" in the house. I enjoy it. I always sterilize mine when done. Then use a food grade oil on those knives. Such as Frog Lube. Keep in mind some foods will stain certain metals. Cutting lemons for example, will make some really cool patinas.

Washing it is fine, just dry it and shake it out well, compressed air will work best to get moisture out of the pivot area. Olive oil works well to protect the blade, just rub some on, then wipe it off with a paper towel (a micro layer will be left on the blade).

you can wash it under running water ,wipe with a napkin and let it dry out, its works very well, after any meal.

for any blades ideal camellia oil, it creates a protective layer .
