Shirogorov Clip

So I recently picked up a Shirogorov Model 95. The knife is beautiful and smooth but yesterday I took off the clip to clean it. If you are familiar with Shirogorov knives you know that there is a ball bearing that seats in-between the clip and handle that prevent the clip from swiveling due to only having one screw through it. When I put the back on I noticed that when I seat the ball bearing properly between them the screws holes don't line up and vice versa, this results in a visible gap between the clip and the handle that you can see the ball bearing. It is seated fully in the handle and slightly into the clip so the clip doesn't swivel but it bugs me. I never noticed how the clip was seated before I took it apart. Does anyone have one and can tell me if theirs has this same problem. I am considering using my drill press to make a suitable hole in the clip to seat the bearing that will allow everything to line up. UI don't want to regret it though so if anyone has any insight let me know.

This is no big deal, if the ball aligned with the hole, bolt twists

Im saying that the spacing between the bolt hole and bearing hole on the clip is not equal to the space between the bolt hole and bearing hole on the handle meaning that for the bolt holes to line up, the bearing can only be seated in one of its pockets so the clip can not screw down all the way.

Nevermind, re-read your original post and I agree with your drill idea.

I meant to grind down the bearing, but that may cause swivel.

Buuuut, if the bearing is just the slightest bit off and almost seated you might be able to get away with grinding down the bearing anyways so it seats better.

Would any of you gents know the size of that ball bearing?? The clip on my F95 got snagged and bent out of shape so I took it off to bend it back to shape but I stupidly dropped the bearing and couldn´t find, so I am trying to replace it.. Any help is much appreciated!!
