Shirogorov Neon Zero Backspacer Question

Hello again everyone. I have a very specific question regarding the Neon Zero. Recently, I bought a Neon NL, but I didn't like how the butt of the handle came to such a point. I understand that the handle is exactly the same on the neon zero, but does the added backspacer create a buffer for the sharp angle of the handle? I've been looking as closely as I can at pictures, but it's hard to tell without in hand. It almost looks as if the backspacer protrudes slightly out from the end of the handle, which would diminish the pointed end of the handle. These have been popping up again recently, and before I drop money on one, I'd like to see if I can figure this out.
