I spoke to Master Shiva, who said that Baton Rouge was very hard hit by Gustav. Trees down eveywhere, they are still without power, have a curfew, and staples such as gasoline and housing supplies are hard to find. He said he's "OK", but can't work on his knife orders at all right now, and his computer access is extremely limited. If you have a knife on order, or have emailed him recently, please be patient as a result.

Hope things improve for him and the others in hard-hit Louisiana soonest.
 
Sounds like business as usual for Master Ki (couldn't resist)
Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon enough.
At the rate they're coming across the Atlantic - repairs may have to wait.

Glad to hear Master Ki is well. One day I would like one of his blades. I'm sure things are pretty rough down there. All the best to all and hope things get back to normal soon for everyone.

It does sound like busines like usual. and yes I am only kidding. I like the man and his work. Wishing all well
 
Just got an email from Mr. Ki:

Widespread destruction. Entire city blacked out for three days.
Just got power back here at 5:30 PM, out for 5 days.
Houses and cars flattened by giant tree`s, ripped to shreds. Gas
station canopies blown "away" all over town. Lost part of my house roof. Blew a
45 ft tree out of the ground and dropped it across my yard.
Just another exciting day. Aint we got fun?

These hurricanes are no joke, Joe. Hopefully they don't impact our economy as much as these sub-prime loans... :( :mad:
