Several years ago our new Kami Rajkumar , Prince, has created a beautiful knife for you
based on a legendary knife used during the ancient times of
the 2nd Buddha Guru Rimpoche.

As the legend has it, this beautiful knife was used by the gods
for fighting evil spirits. Might be useful in today's environment.

The handle is wood with brass fittings. The butt caps are heavy.
It looks like a full tang. The sharp edge on the back side and the
sharpened, multi-faceted front edge might indicate how dedicated
those early Buddhas were when battling hordes of evil spirits. They
weren't planning on taking prisoners.

Howard is the original owner of this mystical Knife! He donated this Knife to help HI and Kamis during hard time. This Knife already found another loving home.

I believe this knife has ancestors in the butcher shop. It has functional guthook, a rounded ulu like skinning/fleshing surface, and a khukuri like cleaver section. There are additional elements for which I see no function, but may have mythological/cultural roots.

I'm tempted to say the little hook might be a can opener, but I think the big hook would get in the way. Besides, I doubt that they had cans way back when.

Regardless the Kami's really put some work and effort into producing that. Can't comprehend how they do it, it's amazing.

I like the way Rajkumar braces the tip of the blade on a rock while holding the tongs with his foot.

However, he's smiling at the camera when he should have his eye on the grinder, which looks like it's about to cut off his big toe. A trick of perspective, no doubt, or he had the grinder turned off. :)

This pic were taken while back when he made the HI Prince Knife designed by my niece Terisa.
