Hello to everyone my name is paul and i am from Greece.
My job is cook and my hobby is knives...!

This is a tanto that start it a month ago.
I've made it from sverker 21(d2) in 61Rc.
Tsuba, kashira& fushi is from alloy that is used in jewelry.
Rayskin is leather and also the cord.
For the wooden parts i used beechwood and ebony.
All the materials that i use is what can i find here in Greece.....

Thanks for watching and i hope you like it...:)

That looks like a shinogi zukura(flat by the spine, rather than a straight dive from the spine to the edge), and looks very well done. Congratulations on a bold effort!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

If your cooking is anything like your knifemaking........I want some!!!!!!!! :D

Nice package, great work on the steel. I really like the tsuba.

It looks like the handle may be a little too broad for the blade though. There's a bit of a flow issue at the tsuba. But the finish is great throughout.

impressive work!
lost wax is something you don't see a lot of around here, but it's damn cool!

Thank you all for your comments!!!!

The bevels i've made them with a small belt grinder and files.
This is my workoshop:( but for now it's ok!

I like it a lot as well!
It proofs again that youy don't need a lot to make good knives
