Over the last couple years, I've broken both my feet and suffer from tendinitis and arthritis in my feet. In fact, I was in a wheel chair for six weeks about a year ago. I have orthotics that help some.

I'm fine now according to my podiatrist, except my feet always hurt if I walk much. My podiatrist told me what to look for in a shoe, i.e., sturdy, sizing etc. but didn't make any specific recommendations.

I'm looking for sturdy comfortable shoes that are dressy enough to wear in an office setting but they don't have to be fancy. I was wondering about shoes that police officers or postal carriers wear. I'm size 11EEEE.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Look into SAS shoes, I think you'll like them. My cousin was having terrible trouble with his ankle after surgery and he's a salesman. He tried SAS shoes and he said it was like a majack bullet.
