Hey,
Did anyone else see Michael Janich on the show "Shooting Gallery" on
the Outdoor Network? He went over how to defend the hot zone (close in stuff, not the other hot zone) against a knife. He used a blue training gun. I've always been impressed w/ his professionalism in the two shows I've seen him in (other- blow gun demonstration for "Ripley's Believe It..."). Spyderco is very lucky to have him on board for instruction and design.

No, I didn't see Michael's presentation, maybe he has some footage? Yes, we quite agree, Michael is special and we're lucky to have our association.

Thanks for responding and for the welcome. His training partner sure took a beating for the sake of the audience. Only knife content was the rubber, Al Mar style trainer. Michael J. covered basic day to day tactics to keep one alive and unharmed, and he geared it to the new concealed handgun shooter. Good stuff.
