Shop mats?

Apologies if this is not the correct forum, but I figure people that like to work on and tinker with their knives are likely to know.

I'd like to get a couple of the shop mats I see in videos and things that have exploded diagrams of knives. Does anyone know of a good place to buy them? Particularly looking for Benchmade and spyderco. Thanks in advance!

I'm sure I've seen them free with $XX purchase of said vendor's knives. Bladehq? Knifecenter? At any rate, I can't seem to find them. Just buzz by their websites weekly until it show up on their banner.
There is also a company called Tekmat that does exploded diagrams of guns on shop mats. Look them up and see if they do knives - not like there isn't a lot of crossover in the market.

Shoot the companies an email and see what they say, the worst they can do is say no.

Some make their videos using the regular green Olfa self healing craft mat. I have a big one of those for quilting and the like and it seems to serve dual purpose. Though Id prefer not to get it too greasy as I also use it for fabric.

I use a big silicone baking mat. It was much cheaper and much larger than some of the cutting and self-healing mats. It rolls up easily and cleans up quickly with water the swarf and grit wash right off. Highly recommended if you want something easy to use on a shared surface.

I wouldn't mind having one of those Spyderco mats that BHQ had a while back. They have similar ones on fleabay, but they are all Glock or AR-15

Thanks for the feedback guys, I want the shop mats specifically for the knife diagrams, not just to have a shop mat. For those of you who were saying you wanted something similar, spark mentioned on the last live feed that he had had some mouse pad like things made at kinkos. If you can find good, high res images of what you want, it's an option!

Yeah, I've only seen knife specific ones on BHQ that they include with the purchase of a brands knife.

I'd like to have a Spyderco one myself.
