Just wondering what some of you guys have come up with for storing knife material like various colors of g10, handle materials, consumables, pin stock, and blade materials. I need to organize my materials better and I'd like it to be visible because I often forget what I have when I don't see it. I got some filing cabinets from work but I seem to loose track of things I don't see. Any nifty organizational things you guys have come up with to show would be great.

The clear tupperware stackable drawers work well for me. Each bin is sorted by specific material and backup items( drill bits, pinstock, epoxies, etc....), so I can open the drawer and have a quick inventory of what I have on hand, or am running out of.

I've got a workbench with some drawers and cabinets built in, plus a handy dandy label maker with large type and im set.

I have a 4 car garage that is currently housing all of my in-laws possessions while they build a house. I am therefore forced to share my well house with the sports/toys/camping gear. I do not know of this organization you speak of.

I bought an old nuts/bolts/screw 24 drawer parts bin and have misc stuff in it. I just put a piece of tape on the drawer and write what it is.
I also have an 8 shelf office organizer that's made of plywood for my sandpaper.
I added drawers to my workbench by picking up some throwaway cabinets from an office building remodel.
I also just had my son cut me 70 different lengths of 1-1/2",2",3" and 4" ABS pipe. I'm gluing the cheap white knockout caps on their bottom and will have all the storage bins I could ask for in my drawers.
I had the pipe free and the caps cost about $6.

Everything is precisely where I left it...

Actually, like Charles I have a couple of Tupperware towers that hold various odds and ends. If I had a few more then I would be set.
