If you really want to see if you got ALL the scratches out of your blade and if your hand rubbed or mirror finish looks good...

Take your blade out and look at it under a street light at night. It will show every wart and blemish on it. A perfectly good looking blade in your shop looks like a total loser under these lights.

Give it a try and reply back with what you have found...

Lets just say its another quality check.

BTW...lighting at the Mesquite show is just about the same conditions as this. Mercury vapor lights and a black ceiling...
