Shop Tour and web site

Nice Web site and shop setup Tom. I really like the Champion Leather Stitcher. It looks like it could last several lifetimes.

MS in 2005?

Wow! Great setup, I think I would die of starvation before long though

"Honey, dinner is out"

"Be there in a sec...

Later that night

"Are you coming to bed or not?!"

"Be right there, just have to.. Oh damn, where did that go" *scrubs around under a bench looking for a pin*

8hrs later (Still in the shop)

"Honey Breakfast is out"...

"Great, I'm starving, Oh wow! That came out well, I wonder if.."

See a picture forming? :D

Temper, you're cracking me up! :D Ain't that the truth?

Tom that's an impressive setup, the rest of us can only dream of having such a complete shop. You're obviously very alert to tool sales and have made all the right decisions.

I really like your 1X42 sharpening setup, that's a great idea.

And your knives speak for themselves; fantastic work. Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for the nice comments. It has taken me 24 years of knifemaking to accumulate those tools. A knifemaker does not need all those tools to make a great knife. Desire, dedication, skill and a willingness to learn are really more important than a shop full of tools.
My advice to a beginning knifemaker would be to get a good 2X72 belt sander as soon as possible. I mowed lawns on the side to get my first grinder. Then put your knife profits back into equipment. As your skill improves you will sell more knives and be able to afford more equipment.

No shop is complete without it. ;) Nice shop Tom, I realy like the old craftsman drill press.
