i`m thinkin of takeing some pics of my shop and some of my knives, was just wondering if you guys would be interested in seeing them or posting some pics of your own shops and setups.
don`t know if it`s a good idea, was just curious what kind of set up you all got!!
mine is pretty basic!

i'd like to see your shop. and the shops of some other members. also, if you guys have some favorite tools, show them off too.

Shop pics sound like a great idea. Also like magnum said any and all specialty tools you have made or special processes would be nice to see and know about.

pictures of shops and favorite tools, especially homemade or improv. tools would
be great. Maybe I will have a real shop to work in someday and will have some ideas of how to set it up.

See ya,

Show me your shop and I will show you mine. Not really, I don't have much shop to show. But, I would surely like to see what my shop should aspire to be.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea.Mines easy just picture a room where every flat spot has something piled on it.
Serious though i will take some video stills of my grinde and send them along.
Take care

if anyone is interested..there is a not so great picture of half my shop at my site under the about tom button...the other half is behind the wall that keeps the steel grit on the grinder side...behind the wall i have a tool and cutter grinder, 10" south bend lathe, hardinge bros tool makers miller, two drill presses, a compressor, and a glass bead cabinet..plus two big tool chests, a bench, and my american straight needle stitcher, and if you are jealous...let me tell you its taken 18 years of saving and buying one of these things at a time to get it all....and as far as im concerned im just getting started...have a hard core on order and 2/3 paid for.gotta tell you that 17 years ago i went to bob loveless' shop. he has about 6 bur kings in a row in a long narrow room...another big room with all his machine tools and a big u shaped workbench, a room just for leather with his stitcher in it.....a room where he builds sidearms, and a long narrow hall where he SHOOTS his gun! now thats a shop. all right behind his house.
