Hey Guys. On the 16th of November, if any of you are in or around Socal you should come to the Cal Knives meeting at my shop!

There will be about 20-30 other makers, and for the first time ill have ALL my blocks available. Thats roughly 4k-5k individual pieces. Thats a lot of wood. Ill be doing some demonstrations on finishing wood with a buffer, how to cut up burl/ whole logs and answering questions about wood prices/ usage and figure optimization.

My shopmate Nick of Fell knives will be doing a forging demonstration as well!

And, if you are in Socal but cant make those days, you are also always welcome to visit my shop whenever! Just let me know.

Yeah, you better get rid of all that wood quick. I hear it is getting scarce out there lately. They may ban wood sales soon :D

Ah heck we were just at The Garment District a couple of weeks ago! Right there in your hood Ben! See what we bought:

Handmade wool vests and wildrags (scarves ya guys, cowboys don't wear scarves, they wear wildrags) were the first two products Horsewright ever made and sold. "Horsewright wool vests are the finest handmade wool vests on the planet, period", Sporting Classics Magazine.

Heck I can long trot on down there. Been a long time since I've come down out the mountains twice in one year. Thinking on it.

Ya got some place I can tie up George? He don't do parking lots really good. The calf we got hooked back up with her mom. Kay back to your regular schedule topic, knives:

What time is this get together starting at? I'm looking forward to getting more wood from you and checking out your setup!
