Just got a new LM Charge AL and it is sweet!

Any other "Charge'ers" out there?

I've got my charge on me pretty much all the time I'm wearing pants. I use mine pretty much every day. Congratulations on a great tool!

^ Thanks!

Functional.

Well thought-out selection of tools.

Sturdy construction.

And the fit and finish is really above its predecessor, the Wave. Smoother, easier one-handed opening.

The only "ding" I could mention, if at all, is its bulk compared with my SOG Powerlock and older LM PST. Then again, for prolonged use and if wearing gloves, this might be better on the ergo's.

Loving it to bits!

As a big fan of both Victorinox and Leatherman, I have several samples of each. For their different capabilities, and some cases emotional attachments, I love them all. If, however, I had to choose "one only," I would cry like a little kid at losing my Swisschamp, Trekker, Juice S2 and the rest, but there is no question in my mind which is the keeper in the bunch. Without hesitation, I would hang on to my Charge Tti with its accessories, including an awl mod. It's the most compact kit I know of that can tackle any chore a multi-tool can handle, has one hand opening (a HUGE convenience), and is the only one equipped with a premium blade.

Tolerance is individual, but I find the package including bit kit, extender and flashlight fit neatly in the standard nylon pouch and is easily belt carried all day. For casual EDC, the Tti goes solo into my RF jeans pocket by its excellent deep carry pocket clip. Snug in a high, tight jeans pocket, its bulk is hardly noticeable (although when fishing in your pocket for keys, you will notice it plenty), but other kinds of pocket might not be as hospitable.

Take some time with it, learn its capabilities and quirks (squeeze the handle too high up and it will pinch your palm a blood blister worth  ) and enjoy :) .

I've used my Camo Charge Tti to take apart $10,000 machines that I shouldn't have had my hands in, but needed 'em to work right then. If I only was allowed one pocket tool for the rest of my life, it'd be the one.

I have a Charge ALX. I really like it but it can be a big hunk of metal to carry. Actually using its pocket clip I can carry it instead of a normal folder and that works out well, but since I have lots of good folders for EDC I can't manage to forsake them. I sometimes carry the Charge in addition to my folder when I'm traveling just because it has so many tools. For my normal EDC I carry a Leatherman Juice in addition to a full blown folder.
