Looks like a great little user, but the pins and the placement of the pins is a little different. Out of curiosity, could you have made this knife with matching color micarta pins?

I disagree. The pins look great. How did you get that full tang look using the natural micarta? Is this a hidden tang?

Don't get me wrong. I like the knife. and it takes skill to place the pins at an angle like that. I just looked at it and saw it without pins, i.e., matching color micarta pins or hidden pins.

The six pins on the top and bottom of the handle are there to add strength to the handle sense it's a three layer construction; and I like brass more than micarta.

awesome knife... I have been planning a similar look with brass around the tang. I hope it turns out half as nice as what you've got there.
