Here's one just finished that I thought came out real nice. The blade is 6 1/2", 5160 steel, cocobolo handle with mild steel fittings. I etched the knife to give it more character. Thanks for looking.

That's an Excellent EDC Bowie,Easily Concealed. The knife itself is Excellent,as are all Ray's Bowies I've seen.I love the Finish on it too.Not too Dark and a Little Aged, Looks like it's ready to go to work.Keep Up the Great Work Ray.Oops forgot to mention the sheath.I REALLY Like Ray's sheaths-Simple & Tight, and they look like alot of time was put into them. This one is Just how I prefer my Knives sheaths.ILike like the option of Belt or Inside the Waist.

The sum is better than the parts, because everything just meshes so well, including the sheath. Almost too elegant to be the unpretentious workhorse it was obviously designed for. I like it much in particular, and this genre of bowie generally.

Thanks for the comments guys. I appreciate them all. I haven't been making very many traditional bowies lately. I'm glad I made this one. I really like the overall look and feel of it.

I REALLY love the looks of this entire package Ray. I may have to think about having you make me something similiar to this one, only w/some stag in the handle. :)

Love the 2 current pieces I have from you!!
