Sort of....Indiana to South Carolina, back to Indiana, to California and back to Indiana.... And well worth it.

As some may recall, my prized possession (Aged Bronze Short Butaniku), took a spill on July 4th (INFI meet concrete slab= less than ideal edge, with some surface damage)...

And even though aesthetics don't really matter when it comes to ideal performance.... Glistening, beautiful steel does bring a smile to my face...... So, my quest began (amongst expert recommendations...you guys[emoji106]), with the help of two Masters (Josh at Razor Edge Knives and Ban Tang at Ban Tang Knives), and the Short Butaniku took on its new svelte form....

Flawless...

Much thanks to Josh at Razor Edge Knives and Ban Tang at Ban Tang Knives....True Masters.... And of course THE MASTER, Mr. Busse, for this would not have been possible without his creation.

Now that's cool right there! All that sure led to one special blade. [emoji108]

Love the Ban work. I like the handle blast, but am not entirely sold on the tang grind.

Looks super, though. No more concrete!

Fantastic.

I bought one of these, but had to sell it one. Looked like it had the potential to be a great blade, but would need a few hundred dollars of custom work to get it there, particularly to correct the butter-knife edge.

Simply epic. I hope, given the handle sculpting and edge work, you'll continue to use it for cutting...though you really wouldn't want to lose control of that edge

I love how that turned out. Been thinking of having some work done on mine and I believe you've inspired me to actually do it. PM inbound with some questions.
