Short critter video

I was just riding around the swamp this afternoon and caught a gator and an osprey on the video recorder on my Iphone. Was a nice day out, till the rain started.

I bet you were near that Ospreys nest, they have youngin's this time of year.

Yeah, that's their nest on the top of the cypress it is circling. They nest there every year. I pass them about every day, and it's always the same song and dance. I like to hang out down from the nest and watch them fish. There are 6 nests within a 7 or 8 mile stretch. The bald eagles are back around the house this year, but I've only seen them once, and don't know where the nest is.

I had an osprey crap on my canoe paddle one time while paddling in SC. I swear it stunk worse than any other animal dung I've smelled.
