Short, Deep Carry Bugout clips

Hi All!

(It took me like 2 weeks to get the account verification email for the forum but it's all good.) I'm new here and this looks like a great knife community and I'm glad to be here!

Sooo, I recently bought a BM Bugout, and then 1.5 weeks later, I went and bought a mini-Grip. I contacted BM to see if they'd be willing to sell me a Bugout short-deep carry clip for my mini, but they said production was behind and that there was no way they could send one out.

I know this is a long shot, but would anyone have an extra short-deep carry clip just like the Bugout they'd be willing to sell me? The clip on the Bugout is perfect. The clip on the mini-Grip allows about 1/2" of the knife to stand out.

On a side note, BM is not good for my wallet.

Welcome aboard. Collecting Benchmades caused serious holes in my budget, but no regrets. Some years are better than others. Be selective, take your time. The market for these knives is amazing, despite criticisms about fit and finish it's a good company to deal with. Good luck on finding a Bugout clip. I think the shortage was not intentional, probably came as a surprise to many of us. You'll find one sooner or later and I've heard they really make a good knife even better!

Have you tried or considered a normal deep carry clip? They’ll send you plenty of those, and will allow your Grip to sit lower in the pocket. Great upgrade, and now come standard on the -1 Grips.

When was it that you asked? At first Benchmade wasn't able to send out those clips, but I remember reading that they're willing to do so now. I suggest(unless you did ask recently) that you try them again.

I know I want one for my mini as well, they look fantastic. I dislike their normal deep carry clips because of how it sits in my hand and the lack of retention. The shorter one would be perfect.
