Went out for a hike in Hickory Creek Preserve, which is only about 1/2 mile from home. It`s a cloudy, windy day, in the mid 50`s. We got to the 2 mile point, then it started pouring rain, so we turned back. Here are a few pictures from the morning.

At least Connie was smart enough to wear a rain jacket!

Beautiful colors out there,at least you got out for a bit.
We're having pretty much the same weather up here finally.

it's always good to get out even for just a short hike! nice pics sir. fall and winter camping/hiking is the best!

looks like a nice way to spend a fall day. pretty cool to have a park like that close to you, as well. thanks for the pics.

It's good to see you out and enjoying nature. We all need to do more of that.

Nice! The colors are starting to pop down here - I have been buried in work, and then went to West Point KY over the weekend.

Unfortunately I forgot to charge the battery on my camera so I have very few pics of the shoot.

best
