Hi Everybody,

Especially the Arizona guys.
There is a knife show in Tempe, that I will be at today.

We are also having a get together after the show, come by & I will give you details

What a let down...
I went and left after fifteen minutes. Everyone there looked miserable to begin with.

(the show, not the after party get together)

You must of missed Dave.......

I was there at around 2pm. Maybe I did miss him, I went actually in the hopes to see some examples of Busse knives, I thought since he has such a collection that maybe there would be some displayed. I had a couple of questions about the SAR3, and never seeing or holding them in real life, I thought this would have been a good opportunity. Honestly though, the knives there weren't of any particular quality. A lot of old knives that looked like they were just purchased from Goodwill and then brought there to see if someone would unload them off their hands. Anyway, everyone else enjoyed it! Maybe it was just because I got there so late (opened at 9am).

Weird ? I was at a show that had everything from Randalls to Busse's ?

I was there till right at 5 pm

I am a little hard to miss.

I had at least 10 different Busse's on my table.

Doug Ritter was there, several other local award winning custom makers, lots of high end knives we also represented represented. I saw 6 full custom Ken Onions

Was it Blade,............. no but it was far from "Goodwill" knives.

I was happy to be at a show & see just knives, not dolls, toy helicopters & the other junk you see at gun shows.

The small local shows really need the support of people in the area or they will go away & you will have to travel far away to see any knives.

Maybe 15 min was not long enough to see everything, it was a small show but far from a disappointment for me.

Where were the Busse's (Bussii?)? I walked around every booth looking at all the knives, or so I thought. Admittedly, there was a lot of knives there, and I didn't really talk to anyone or ask any questions! Now I'm disappointed in myself even more! Don't get me wrong, there were a few really really nice knives there, and damn, I must have completely walked past you...

I feel pretty stupid.

Where was your table?

Maybe I'll try and stop by again tomorrow.

No worries, unfortunately I will not be there tomorrow, got church to go to.

I think the only other Busse there was Lee's Cutlery had a Boss Street, I think he wanted 275.00 w a leather sheath for it.
