Short Outing with the Boy

The boy, and I were out shooting footage for a YouTube video today. He's doing an awesome job learning how to set up really cool shots. After about 2-3 hours of watching me he asked if he could get some blade time in. So, he gets out a Machax, and has a blast. Took him a little bit to find the sweet spot, but he got it.

Then he started hewning out a handle. Boy see boy do.


After that he decided to try out draw knife technique.


And after a long day in the woods it was time for man food. Veg prep courtesy of the 15. Pork and beef philly steaks on a fresh Baguette

All in all... A good day. Cheers

Thanks, Gassy. We're working on them. Should be some good stuff up soon. I can't wait to get into the TM Hunt stuff. We're taking our time with those.

Looks like a good time out man. I need to go do something with my son. He's 27 now, and rarely home. He, and his new girlfriend are very active, which is a good thing. His last gf was prissy, but his new one loves the great outdoors.
