Saturday past the mail man cometh and I didn't even know it. I wasn't expecting any thing in the mail. I already had my 12" Villager. I went to the house to take a break from the heat and my wife handed me the box. It looked like a box from HI but it was from LCS37. This man has already given me too much khuk already so I was wondering what in the world would be inside.

My Bilton had the box open in short order and, when all was unwraped there was this note. My wife now has a new knife. Made by Kumar with a yellow sheath complete with Ying-Yang symbols. The Trishul? Decker. He said that he thought she could use it in the kitchen. I am working on it to get it as sharp as her boot knife she carries in her purse. No she isn't going to use it in the kitchen. It will be on her night stand ready for quick use if needed. She has started working on the strength in her right hand and wrist. She says she can use both hands on the rest of her weapons but the knives she wants to be able to use with one hand.

Rifle, Pistol, Hawk, two Knives and, she can handle my 12 Ga. Sawed off double gun. I try not to make her mad too many times. Even though the new knife is a bit heavier than what she is used to she likes it a lot. She's just having a hard time figuring out why some one she doesn't know would send her such a beautiful thing. The only thing I could tell her was that almost all of the guys that are on this forum are the good guys.
:) :D :D

:) Just wanted to make sure La Senora Pappy, had the means to keep you in line!:D

Pappy, I sent you an email, in response to yours, a few days before I sent the package. In it , I mentioned the knife, and the need for your sharpening skills.

I'm glad she enjoyed it.... Get her a one inch dowel, tie a strong string on it, with a weight on the end, using wrist action, roll it up and down several times a day. WELL, it worked in some western movie I remember seeing, with Raquel Welch. :D

Them Trishul Deckers are some pretty sporty blades. Dan (Pendentive) sent me one, and just as quick as I could make a more tactical scabbard for it (that yellow leather wasn't getting it), it was on it's way to Afghanistan. Young fellow that wound up with it just got back safe and healthy from there three weeks ago. He's out in Fort Drum, NY right now training up to be ready to go again. The warrior spirit displayed by some of these youngsters makes my heart smile.

I've heard comments from a few WWII vets that are not very kind about the fighting men of today. I over heard them in HEB, while I was with La Senora shopping for groceries. I just couldn't keep my mouth shut and the Mrs. says every body around was looking at me with big smiles on their faces. I'm proud of all those young men that are over there and the ones that will go later. It just burned me up. They said the same thing about the youg men that were in Viet Nam too. I just couldn't button that lip.

LCS, I'm having some kind of problem with my email for some reason. I'm not sure just what the problem is. I guess I'll get it figured out pretty soon. I may try to go back to the old system that I was using and see if that fixes the problem. Yes she appreciates what you did. I'll have to do something about the yellow sheath though. It looks pretty wild the way it is. I got so used to the khuks that I seem to be having a bit of a problem getting this thing sharp. I'll make it though.

:) :D
