Short Resilience Review.

I really like this knife.....but.

So I bought a Resilience from Amazon a couple weeks ago and really liked the ergos and blade. It just felt like a costlier knife. The only thing was when opening it and that the blade on one side was very wavy. When opening, it would hesitate twice until locked. I opened it a hundred or so times and the hesitation never seemed to get better. The blade also had a wavy grind on one side that was very obvious.....something I have seen on my sub $10 Opinals.

So I sent the knife back for an exchange and got the new one yesterday. It is perfect. In fact, it opens as cleanly as my Military, but does not have that nice thunk/click of the Military. The blade is also ground perfectly.

Overall, I would say the Resilience is a steal at this price if you get a good one.

Agreed. I like the handle better than my Millies of past. Just fits my hand better. Also if something bad happens, its a lot cheaper LOL. Blade steel aside, its a great knife.

I got to handle one in a passaround for a week and I have to say that I will grudgingly admit that it is a better knife than I would have thought. For the price it is an exceptional value.
