Just finished my week with the Pelican and Crossbill. I'll make this short and to the point, LIKED 'EM BOTH!! I'm not a real big fan of most hawkbill blades, but, this one just sorta fit! Liked the fit and finish on both,(excellant for price of knives). Seemed to be sturdy and well built for the price. Good cutters, tho I didn't have much chance for " hard use". Really enjoyed the blade design on the Crossbill! Great utility cutter, with the straight edge and modified sheepfoot. Bang for the buck? You Bet!! Thanks to all at Spyderco (Byrd), Danny, and all involved for another GREAT Passaround!!! Marty.
