Well gang, I've been out of the game of one hand opening locking folders for a while. That's been rectified in the last week. Years back, I was all about big, mean looking folders. Anything with less than a 3.5" blade was for wusses!
Since I've retired, I've been downsizing my EDC items.
So, without further ado, here's my 2 latest acquisitions:

Small Sebenza Insingo. The beautiful shape of the blade was what first drew me to this knife. I'd owned a large Classic Sebenza in BG-42 years back that I dearly loved. It was an ergonomic dream and just plain beautiful. I thoroughly love the purposeful industrial look of bead blasted Ti and a satin finish blade. When I found the Small Insingo locally, I new I had to have it. It's nowhere as easy to open or unlock/close as the large was but it's easy enough once you learn the secrets. It's absolutely stunning in person and the small size and non-"murdery" blade shape makes it totally non-threatening looking to sheeple. Thanks to Nick Shabazz for my new favorite blade descriptive word. It came scalpel sharp which was a surprise. I've read so many reviews of Sebenzas lately coming with barely adequately sharpened blades. Obviously, it locks up with bank vault solidity. The handle is quite comfy in my med sized hands. I took it apart the day after I got it, polished the washers a bit, cleaned out the sludgy grease from the factory and put new grease in. Instantly it was a smoother nicer knife. Yessir, I'll have this for a long time.

House of Blades Kershaw Dividend. It's unbelievable that you can purchase a knife this nice for only $89 that's all US made! Wow, what a nice knife. It is assisted and fires open with authority. Lockup is totally solid. Beautiful blackwash S35VN blade and blue anodizing on the handle scales. Very thin and pocket friendly with a DEEEEEEP cary clip. This also came scalpel sharp. The blade is quite thin so it should be a little slicing demon. The handle is a little longer than the Small Sebenza's and is comfy to use. The anodized Aluminum handles though are a bit slick. No prob as this won't be a "hard use" knife.

So, I got 2 awesome knives from opposite ends of the price spectrum. I think I'll be satisfied for a while.

Only way for me to post pix is on FB. Hope this works.

I love the dividend. I had one with the plastic scales. Sold it off awhile back and regret it. The sebenza and ones like hinderers are more than I can afford but beautiful knives.

Yeah the dividend is a great knife. I have a “user” and one of the special M390 versions they made. It’s similar to the Kershaw leek, great knife no matter what type of steel
