Steel is Carbondamascus from m.balbach.
the piece was an order. - the customer said to me: make a nice piece from the steelpiece.
handlematerial is oosik.

the round tip was made after the wish of the customer.

I've never seen anything of yours I did not like :thumbup: I'm curious though, did the customer say why they wanted the rounded tip?

no - but the round tip was made in europe at swords which are handled from a "henker" - dont know the english word - thats a man from the justice who kill offical people - in the years about 1400-1500

The tip makes it look like an executioner sword, but IMO it doesn't make sense to have it done on such a small sword. I believe that excutioner swords were at least full sized. :confused:
 
Too Sweet, very nice work me and the son are jealous, my wooden swords arent going to keep up with my sons growth and interests. Sure would love two rounded tip short swords we could spar with =) Your sword really has a aged or battle worn look to the handle too, that is a nice effect
