I am really interested in these short term/limited production knives like Giant Mouse and Boos Blades. So not large production knives and not fully custom (like some of the spectacular knives on this forum). But still super cool knives in limited batches coming out every so often, and less expensive than custom.

I'd love to know about more companies like this I can keep an eye on. Any suggestions?

they are big on instagram and or Facebook. not much we can say here since they are not bladeforums supporting vendors.

small batch production knives may cost more than regular production due to limited numbers provided. so great for collection but else your just paying more for another ti frame lock knife in some cases. boos seems to have kept the prices pretty low despite this.

So batch production runs? Off the top of my head:
  • VDK
  • Ferrum Forge
  • G&G Hawk
  • HEAdesign
Olamic, Holt Bladeworks, and SharpByDesign may kind of fall into the same category, but they produce knives in long on-going batches, not releases of ~200 all at once.

Bladerunner systems does small batch releases. You're not gonna find an alpha beast brand new.

Ah, got it, thanks. Just really enjoy these smaller comapnies and side projects for designers. Only recently turned on to North Arm Knives too.
