SHORT TIBETAN SWORD BY BURA: question?

Just purchased this, from the 8/3 sale. Was wondering if anyone can give me their impressions of this sword and/or some history on this weapon. I believe it is called a Ke Tri on the HI website. Did a search and found little history and pics that were markedly different from the sword sold here....is Ke Tri a blanket term for this type of sword? are there regional differences? Sorry for all the questions.
 
I wish that I could answer your questions a little better, but to be honest...I have no idea:o
What I do know is that kamis will change, alter, renovate, and completely throw out various design points on various blades...almost from blade to blade. They are not exactly learned in the history of such weapons. They are salt of the earth folks that make a hellova blade based on what they see, what they've heard, and what they "know" will "work".
I'm sorry that I couldn't answer your questions better, but I'm sure the experts will be along shortly:)
