Finally had a day off without rain and decided to take a short walk in the woods. Took my favorite dog along as well and he loved it.

Dog is a Shepard mix from the pound and has been an excellent companion around the house, he even ran off a curious Rotweiler one day.

Knife is a Aitor Jungle King I. I have a soft spot for the hollow handle survival knives so it been on my belt for a few years. Prior to this I carried a Gerber BMF. Still keep my Swamp Rat Camp Tramp around as well. Can't have too many knives.

Location is SW Washington State near Winlock

Nice looking area....Nice looking dog can see the shepard in him. Had one for 14 years Great Dogs....

Awesome pics, I've almost bought one of those Aitors more times than I can count but have always wondered how it would hold up over the long haul doing some chopping and stuff in a hardwood forest.
 
Great pics. Awesome scenery. All I see here right now is snow and leafless trees.
