SHOT 2012 went by in a flash! I never got the chance to go up to the main floor and only walked the 1st floor once. So, my perspective is rather limited.

It appeared that foot traffic was down but, there seemed to be fewer sight seers and more buyers! That is a good sign, for sure. It also seemed there were more small brick and mortar businesses buying. I spoke to more foreign buyers this year than last. On that last point, I spoke to a buyer from the Bahrain military. They are very interested in the HTM auto GunHammers. That would be kind of cool to add to the list of customers. For any of you who enjoy geocaching, I also spoke to a small company that wants to put together a geocaching "survival kit". They liked the single edge BroadHead I had there. They also liked the titanium HTM BroadHead. If things go well, they might contract with HTM to produce a single edge titanium body BroadHead with a steel blade. We will see where that goes over the next few months.

I am waiting to hear if I have been banned from next years show. It seems I had an evil twin wandering around the show with a copy of my name tag, commiting all kinds of heinous acts! Oh, he acted all nice an innocent. Neuron might know more!

Darrel, Lou called, he wants his money back!:p

I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about.

Of course you don't.

Another fun bit from SHOT. Lou Ferrigno stopped by the booth to admire and ultimately aquire one of Darrel's custom balis. While he was there, his friend showed him my BroadHeads. He said he liked them and Lou should look at them. Lou took a look, shook his head and said" No, those knives scare me." He may not have one of my knives but, I managed to scare the Incredible Hulk! How many people can say that!

Note Dirk's careful phrasing so as to avoid using 'buy', 'purchase', or their synonyms. :p

You guys should send tickets next year. So many cool people I'd like to meet. It's like candyland only without candy and not for kids.

Love that bit about The Hulk. Such a small knife scared him. Heh.

Somebody wake Darrel up! It's no fun to poke fun at him if he isn't going to participate!

Hark, maybe next year amigo. It is fun! Next year, I am going to take some time and walk around the show!

I'm still surprised no one was able to snag pictures of stuff. I'll have to ask Darrel to get some to me so I can upload them here.

I was too busy fondling all of the cool HTM/DDR/Dirk Pinkerton stuff to take pictures of it. :p
