Apologies for posting and not responding. Personal family tragedy kept me away from my computer for some time. Now that my sons are finished with school, I'll have them split the set up and offer a few at a time as has been suggested. I just need to get back into a routine.

Best,

Mike

My humble opinion is that your right about it being a shot in the dark, I think the lack of boxes will cause the biggest problem for a lot type sale. You do have several nice knives and I would be interested in the Manix but like you stated you're not interested in selling them individually. You may try a lot sale on ebay and set a reserve? So how did you store all these knives to keep them in new condition?

Very nice collection, but I think during these times you may be hard pressed to find one buyer, you may wish to reconsider selling them individually or in smaller lots. Another choice would be to send the knives to someone like J Bruce Voyles auctions, he can also help with the appraisal. Just sayin....

I'll take that Berretta Loveless if you are breaking these up and selling it for $65 Thanks Martin

Respectfully, I doubt you'll be able to find a buyer for the lot, and it might be best to take offers on sets of multiple knives.

I would have an interest in several. PM sent.

I am in agreement with what others have said about smaller lots and no boxes. The collection is like an elephant - best eaten in small bites. You don't necessarily have to sell individual items, but even seven $300 lots is probably easier to find buyers for than one $2,100 lot.

Maybe consider breaking up the lots by manufacturer and see how that's received.

I'll take the Spyderco Mini Manix. Since it is a hassle for you to sell the knives individually I'll throw in an extra $10 for your troubles. My email address is Nevermind35@aol.com and I sent you a pm also thanks.

As far as the questions you have goes it might be a good idea to ask in the general forum as chatting in this thread will cause infractions galore.
