Shot My First Gun (More Like Guns...)

HEHEHE!!! Man was it fun!!!! Me my Big Bro and his friend Timmy (the one with the guns), went to some place (wasn't paying any attention... :o) about 15 miles out of my town, to go shotting.

He brought a old Remington, a Ruger .22, a 7mm, and a SGS (thats what he called it. It kinda looked like a a semi AK47....) My first to be fired was the .22. This was maybe the funnest because it was just as loud as my Gamo pellet gun which made me laugh :D

Then I shot the 7mm. We had a target (3 to 4 IN.) about 50 yards out. Timmy went first, no luck. Then my brother, no luck. Then me, FIRST shot, HIT!!! :eek: DAMN was I surprised! It had one hell of a recoil too... :D

The SGS was fun but just a little bit front heavy and just drained the joy out of it... still fun though :D

Then my favorite, The Shotgun.... We were shooting skeat, and it took me two tryes before I could hit it, pretty consistantly. The funny thing is, NOW I WANT ONE!!!! :eek::mad::D The Remington 870 Express Super Mag, is looking maty tasty right now!... :D:thumbup:

Congrats BG! Everyone needs to learn firearm skills and safety. Glad you had a great time:thumbup:

I'm kinda odd, I love all shooting, but my favorite is Rimefire. Esp BR:thumbup:
Good thing I love rimfire with the price of ammo lately.
 
We didn't have ear protection so we had to emprovise... my friend Timmy is whta you would call a "redneck" :D and he had this trick you get the butts of a cigaret, and you just shove those in your ear :D Works like a charm HAHAHAH! :D Made me laugh so hard :D

Do you know what variant of 7mm it was? There are something like a dozen versions of that bore diameter available.

For example, these ones are used in single shot and standing breech guns:

Spend .99 cents and buy some REAL ear plugs. Better yet, spend $10 and get some muffs.

Don't be like one guy I shot with once. He didn't have any ear protection, so I offered him my extra set of muffs.

He said, "No, thanks, I'm used to the noise."

I said, "Really?"

He said, "What'd ya say?"

'nuff said.

man go to any dragstrip and you will see more butts in action than any place Ive ever seen!
