I finally got to shoot my Glock 20 today. I'm pretty happy with it. It took me 20 rounds to get used to it but at 25ft my nice sized holes were in a baseball sized group. I purchased some Winchester Silvertips as my everyday load and some Buffalo Bore solids in case I need to shoot a bear or a rogue Chevy. Does anyone have any recommendations for ammo for the 10mm?

I did. Some good stuff. I love video reviews.

Today I caught myself buying a bunch of stuff for my Glock. (This is not my only gun.) But I ordered a Pachmayer grip, chrome pins, chrome slide cover plate with Punisher skull (I'm a comic fan), armorer tool, chrome extractor and extended magazine release and extended slide stop. Oh, and a grip insert plug that holds a single round (I guess if I have to shoot myself after running out of ammo in a zombie apocalypse.)

Okay, the grip I got because while manageable, the 10mm is a handful and I like a solid grip. The chrome stuff I got because I wanted extended mag releases and slide stops and saw they were chrome and decided to just add to it. :D The grip insert I wanted because to keep debris out of the gun. I am coming clean on here because I think everyone can relate and I wanted to marshal my argument when I face my wife over my purchases later. :D

I did check out some heavy tungsten springs and guide rods for shooting high power ammo. I contacted the guys at Buffalo Bore and they said, "If the gun was made in the last 4 years stick with the stock spring." That was when I stopped. Now I just need to get the parts, sit down with a youtube video and put it all together.

Nice. Sounds like you've definitely gone to the dark side. I'm guessing then yours isn't a Gen 4. I'd get a Glock Parts Kit for the basics springs and the sort to be covered just in case.

Been to glocktalk.com yet?
