Schempp Bowie=HOT! That design looks really nice! Funny, pictures didn't do that much for me but seeing the video of it "in hand" it looks like a really nice blade!

Mike is such a great speaker, showcased here yet again. I wasn't very interested in the Bowie until now. He sure knows how to sell a knife. His explanation on the reasoning behind the choices they've made on the Reverse are so well thought out. I had hoped for that price point on the Pygmy warrior, but it cost so much I never picked one up. 100 bucks for the reverse? That's an amazing price. I'm in.

Just noticed someone make another thread for this video, oops!

The Reverse is just the knife I asked for a few years ago. Thanks Sal!

Yeah, the Reverse is real cool, especially at that price. I really like the brass on the Bowie. I want the Szabohawk also.

Looking forward to the Reverse! I wish he had the Ronin2 with him...

Very nice, got to check out most of the new models today at the show. Gayle Bradley was nice enough to talk with me about some of their stuff so big thanks to him, very nice down to earth guy. My favorite part of their display, and one I wish I'd have gotten a couple pictures of, is they had two displays of various knives that were all concepts, some that were already slotted for production down the road, and others that were still undecided. There was a lot of really nice designs so I think we'll see great things down the road.

I just love knives - it is a tactile and visual thing - nothing to do with need or what I can afford. The Schempp Bowie looks awesome and the Reverse is such a smart design.

Knives like beautiful women - you just can't have them all (my wife hates it when I say that :D).

Still I share my life with a beautiful woman and I don't know which knife I will buy next. The Schempp Bowie is right up there on my want list. How's it feel to want

Janich seems like a cool dude. Always enjoyed watching him on The Best Defense.

Super cool guy every time. With a knowledge level that's not easy to grasp.

Received the new Spyderco catalog today - very well done by the way and is much more fun to browse than the online edition - anyway was reading the specs on the Schempp Bowie. I am very surprised that is small and light and thin as it is. Seems bigger in the video than the specs and comparison with other Spydies reveal it to be. Great looking knife but size wise not what comes to mind when I think of a Bowie.

Agreed, when I think back to the original Keating Chinook and now this one.... well, wimpy is the word that comes to mind.
