I know, a lot of chinese produced knives. All of the American and Italian brands are boring me.
Nothing screams "I have to buy it now" to me. Some of what I list might not really be new to 2020.
I'm interested in .. (no particular order)
BM Presidio 2
Kershaw Natrix XL with Copper handles - Normally not a metal scale fan but might try copper.
Cold Steel Compact SRK - Wish the handle was a tad longer.
CS 4 Max Scout - Never owned AUS10A steel before and the original is out of my price range.
Over the last few days, I've watched quite a few videos covering Shot Show, the only companies that peeked any interest of mine was Artisan's line up and a new balisong from Bear and Sons.
IMO , most of the rest were boring.
I was impressed by the Artisan Cutlery/Pinkerton Collab, as well as the models with their. I also really like the Gerber Asada. Really weird year for me as I don't usually stray from Spyderco. Spyderco does have some stuff coming I will pick up, but it will mostly be existing models in new steels.
I’ve seen a Shot Show video for most of the manufactures and my wallet is happy to hear that at this point nothing has really tripped my trigger. Maybe this will be the year that I finally pick up an Umnumzaan
I'm not so much of a "must run out and buy the next new thing" guy like I was some years back, but there where a couple of things that piqued my interest.
What has me most intrigued, is the secret unreleased Hinderer hinted about at the end of the BHQ video. Any insight on that would be greatly appreciated.
Bench made Mini bugout
Spyderco Siren
But the biggest insta purchase for me would be the Protech Malibu, button lock with amazing action, clip, it just rocks
WE buster for sure. I like the reate iron but the finger choil is a no go for me. Finger choils are ugly and unnecessary, if you can't control a 3.5" blade maybe you shouldn't be playing with knives. the Kershaw lucha and zt 308 are on the list as well. Artisan centauri is a strong maybe.
