I'll have to look into what the policy is on inviting non-trade guests. My past experience is that SHOT tends to frown on non-trade admissions. But let me research a little, I really do hope more people get to experience SHOT show!

Moved to Community, General Knife Discussion isn't the best place for discussing shows.

If you'd ask most people involved in the show that do business there they already have way too many people wandering around that shouldn't be there. Part of the reason they changed the fee schedule a couple years ago, and don't have the show over a weekend was to discourage people getting in that shouldn't be there. Companies got tired of people crowding their booth that had nothing to do with industry while actual buyers had to fight to view their products.
