I have always loved stonewashed blades:cool: like on the microtechs, chris reeves, etc.

Would it be a good option for busse to do?.

Would it be cheaper to have them stonewashed versus beadblasted?.

Any other plus or minus's would be appreciated.

I find that the finish holds up HORRIBLY. Maybe something the custom shop could do though.

I recently acquired a Stonwashed Emerson CQC7 and the Stonewashed blade is like having a custom knife compared to the coated blade, fwiw.

I love the stonewashed finish. The micarta sebenza and xm-18 seem to do well with it. I like it far more than a bead blasted finish. But that is just my opinion.

I like stonewashed blades personally, but I would think that DC would be more durable.

I could go for some stone washed.I find they do not show marks as bad a bead blast.
I am picturing a Busse with DC flats and stone wash grinds.

I don't care what finish it is, as long as it doesn't come with the $200 markup for satin.

They all look equally ugly after I smash them through some seasoned birch.
