Question if this should be allowed given the top of the board clearly says "STOP USING F&F".

Seems to be against the posted rules for people to then still insist on this while also giving scammers a possible in. I just had a deal go south even though I agreed to pay the paypal fees to use G&S.

I think many are confused by the tax implications, it's $20k now at the Fed level with the exception of a few states who mess with people. Per paypals site;

It’s a recommendation, not a direct order!. Use what the seller will agree to or just pass. I usually give an option of $5 additional if buyer wants to use g&s if they worried they might get ripped off. If management forces the G&S as a must use this payment only, lot of us will just quit selling here. The majority of my sales are F&F . Like 99% 🥳

Yes it should be allowed.

Spark leaves the final choice to us. It's up to each buyer or to agree to the sellers terms and conditions or not.
If PPF&F is demanded and the buyer does not want to accept those terms he/she should move on.

Spark and the Mods can only police so much. They have made it clear what their preference is and why it's important. In deciding we each have to accept individual responsibility and weigh the risk.

I for one don't agree with getting a 1099 for taxing used items. Friends and family only for me, don't trade or buy from people without vouches 🤷‍♂️

The matter has been debated, asked and answered multiple times. Spark Spark has made his recommendations on how to conduct transactions in the Exchange. It's up to the adults in the room to make up their own minds on how to proceed, armed with the available information.
