after reading azn johnnys post im starting to get worried... im a Canadian who ordered of of knifezilla, its been 18 days now and still no knife.. youve probably read it already (azn johnnys post) saying that the customs seized his knife and sent him some government letter. If they do that to me ill be in serious trouble because i ordered it in my moms name. But if that happens what is the worst thing that could happen?

Josh also told me that i would get my knife 100% for sure... and if it does get seized my adress will be flagged and that will mean no more knife ordering of the net

You bet you should be worried, especially if your mum doesn't know about it. You better tell her. Just imagine that she gets a letter from the customs about the knife ... she'll probably kick you all around the house.

she knows its a knife but not an illegal bali.... im waiting at the door for some unmarked FBI car to drive up LOL

Don't have time for a long reply, or I'll be late for work.

First, glad to see you've read my post in AJ's thread. To clarify some points (quickly, I may be back to edit after work): Name "flagging" may or may not occur, but is something to consider, if your order gets seized. AJ's situation, I'm pretty sure, is fairly unusual for an order from 'Zilla (I can't recall any other seizures, that folks were willing to tell us about, over the year and a bit I've been a member here). So don't sweat it just yet. (My first Zilla order took 5 weeks, my second took two)

And last, if some constabulary official were to come after your mom, it's be a guy in a red coat on a horse! ;)

I went through a similar situation back when I was a beardless youth in 1977. I tried to order one of those replicas of a first world war trench knife with the brass knuckles. Of course customs wouldn't allow it across the border and sent me a nice letter saying sorry this is not legal. The company gave me my money back and that was the end of that. I still wouldn't mind getting one of those trench knives though! It was a long time ago and I don't know if things are done differently nowadays. As for my mother - I just told her that I didn't know it was an illegal knife. My situation involved a lot less than $160 U.S. so your end result may differ!

Well i dont think u shouold be worried about the feds. Ur mother on the other hand is another story. My brother orderd a Stye Aug bb gun from korea a last yr and it got convo at the customs. My bro got a letter saying i took this blah...blah...blah.... All that happened to my bro was that he didnt get his bb gun and he didnt get his money back which was like $88 bucks. Hope that helped ya.:D If the feds do come to get ya my only advice is to run like u never ran before and run to the us they cant get u there.:p

I got my order of italian switchblades seized and in all honesty, I thought if you ordered them disassembled that it was legal. Well, its not.
Anyway, Customs sent me a letter telling me they were illegal and I could go down to NYC (5hrs away) and claim them (yeah right, as soon as I waled out the door Id be nabbed) And if I got caught importing illegal goods again, they'd flag me for overseas stuff.

The one you have to worry about is your mom not Customs
