Should I etch my tang

Hi there, I just finished a commission piece for a friend who has given me full creative input. The blade is 1095 and is diff treated with a hamon. My question is should I etch the tang now that it is finished or leave it. I have my personal thoughts but interested in what you all have to say.

Due to the sequence of steps I could not temporarily secure the scales, finish the scales, etch the blade in full and resecure the scales because I did some file work on the tang (first attempt at file work so please don't judge).

First, welcome to BF.

Second, I think it looks good as is. I wouldn't worry about it. Great work btw.

Lastly, the phrase "etch my tang" sound like something that should only be googled in incognito mode 🤣

Hey thanks guys, I decided to just leave it in the end. It was what I was leaning towards anyway but wanted to see what other knifemakers thought. Appreciate the vote of confidence. Oh and compliments too! :)
