should I get my strider lock carburized?

I have the 2018 M strider sng and it has a very nice early amount of lockup, after reading about many of the old striders wearing down, the lock up shifting, and developing lock rock I am a little concerned that my knife lock could eventually wear down from flicking it open and closing it. Should I carburize the lock face or send it out to get carburized? Did the old striders develop some issues because of the lock geometry or because of untreated ti wearing against steel?
