I originally bought the Sharpmaker because it was cheap and my knife collection was small. I didn't expect my collection to grow as quickly as it did. Anyway, while the Sharpmaker is great for knives that already have a 30° edge, I can't re-profile with it. A lot of my knives seem to be at different angles.
I was wondering whether I should just get rid of the Sharpmaker and get an Edge Pro (Edge Pro over Wicked Edge because it seems MUCH cheaper). By the time I bought the coarse and ultra fine Sharpmaker rods, the cost would be close to an Edge Pro.
Any thoughts?
