Hi there... I cannot explain it.

I like big blades just because i'm convinced of its effectiveness.

So i see that cheap folder and it is like a love at first sight. No rust, good lock, interesting look, FFG long blade.

Then you see all the negative sides. Big, noisy because of the ring, soft steel, no clip, hard to open and close.

So i ended up giving mine to a friend.

Now i see that same knife again and against all reasons i can say... i like it.

Help...

Take it!!! I have one and I am happy with it in my EDC bag!!! Great knife to cut tomatoes and other vegetables for my lunch!!! I have many others more expensive knives like spyderco persian and bench 710 but I carry my KUDU!!!

Its a decent knife, personally i keep mine in my BOB along with a mora 612 and Buck 110. but for pocket carry carry it tip down and add a larger key ring. the key ring catches the edge of the pocket and holds on pretty well, aside from that try buying one of those add-on thumb studs or make your own, if its too hard to open take the blade out and file/dremel off the bumps. I also use it in a constant saber grip with my thumb through the larger key ring, works decently well to prevent your hand from sliding up

hope that helps

You CAN one-handed open them with practice, and I fixed the noise factor by replacing the ring with a paracord loop.
