Should I go for a large this time?

Hi Each,
After purchasing two small Sebenza's in relatively quick succession, and subsequently losing them to two of my son's treasure chests. I now find my pockets a little light in the daily carry dept. The smalls were perfect. A regular and a decorated (Aztec) with polished blade. The polished blade was swapped with the stonewash on the regular to even up the package and stop squabbles. I need something to play with and feel the urge. I am contemplating a large (Standard actually), version, but having never handled one I fear it might just be too controverial to pull out and start to clean my nails with in the UK. Is it significantly more intimidating to non knife bods? I could get another small but it could go the way of the other two, I have a third son who would maybe allow me three years before the "gimme" look appears.

I have a large standard and love it. I have a 2 year old and he is already eyeing it. I think if you get the large your sons will want it too.

As for the size it is a good size blade. It not something that I wipe out in mixed company. Get a large and another smaller blade for cleaning your nails like a SAK. Then buy a small Sebe and hide them from your sons.

I would consider the small classic Sebenza. Won't raise many eyebrows on either side of the pond, one of my favorite carry pieces when I'm not working.

I suppose If you plan on using your new knife at all, you will have to get a small. I'm not familiar
with blade limits in england so I suppose that would be a consideration. For me If the law allowed a Large Seb I'd buy one and to hell with being politically correct. I rather enjoy shocking the liberal crowd and have a real problem with authority. However ,I must say that my small Seb is much more useful for daily cutting tasks. With the way things are going, we will all, soon be carrying
small semi-sharpened rocks.( per the Law)
take care
