should i have bought seal pup elite instead of seal pup?

First off, im sorry if this is the wrong section, its my first post . Anyway, both the Seal pup and the elite were the same price and I went for the Seal pup. I preferred the serrations and gray powder coating instead. Is there really any quality different? Did I miss out on anything since they were the same price? thanks!

The Elite is a half inch longer,(mostly in the handle). The Elite costs a couple extra dollars. There might be some other differences in choices of finishes, I not sure about that. Otherwise they are about the same.
You can go to SOG's web page and do a side by side comparison of their different knives.

The Elite is made of AUS 8 while the original Seal Pup has an AUS 6 blade.

Both knives are AUS-8 today.
